Homemade IPA - Amber Ale Donuts

Sorry -- donuts and beer...in one sitting...in one tasty dessert?  This could be the best news we've heard all day.

Ok, a variety of beer and donut combinations have crossed our counter over the years but few look as irresistible and enticing as the shot shared by Chef Michelle on our Facebook page.

Hold the tins -- she has a Guinness cupcake recipe too?  Check out the recipe for IPA / Amber Ale Donuts on Chef Michelle's Fan Page and don't forget to add your photos to our Facebook page.  Who knows?  They may end up in the Pix Potluck...

Anyone else have a great recipe for beer desserts -- cupcakes, donuts or otherwise?

Picking: Sour Cherries

I can't get enough of sour cherries! Growing up in Ohio, I'd spend the first half of June up in the cherry tree, reaching for every last make-you-pucker fruit. Even with my "one for the bucket, two for me" mentality, my family ended up with loads of cherries that we'd make into pies, jam, cobblers, muffins and more.
