Blue Bottle Coffee is an ideal first stop in the food-lovers paradise that is the Ferry Building. Walk in and follow the deep coffee aromas to a sign simply marked with a blue bottle.
On an unusually hot San Francisco day, Blue Bottle’s “New Orleans-style” iced coffee hit the spot. Lightly sweetened and topped with a splash of milk, it’s the most flavorful iced brew I’ve ever had. The coffee is rich and bold, so a little ice doesn’t do much to water it down. I thoroughly enjoyed sipping it while strolling through the bustling farmers’ market and gourmet food shops.
No big urn of drip coffee here! Every cup is freshly brewed
You can buy (or order) whole beans from Blue Bottle—just don’t ask the baristas to grind them for you. According to their detailed mission statement, every cup of Blue Bottle should be freshly ground.
