I love this show! Someone needs to go to bat for it. I am a committed fan. Bal has made Indian cooking accessible to new comers. I now use chickpea flour, have visited Indian groceries, learned about spices, and techniques. My entire family (with two children in their twenties) is new to Indian food, loves to help cook it, and watches Bal with me. Thanks, Bal, for sharing your expertise and your stories!

What an enjoyable show. It's obvious that Bal knows what she's doing, enjoys what she's doing and is glad to share it with us. I'm pleased to know she is also helping her small village in India through some of the proceeds gained selling organic spices. Good for her. I can spend a lot of time watching her cook, and challenging myself to try some of her recipes.
This is my new favorite show! Have made her spiced grilled veges with tofu and it was mouth watering. My family loved it and have since served it to company. Thank you, Spice Goddess, for a fabulous cooking show – looking forward to making many of your delicious recipes.
Hum, this is real nice. This topic interest me and this post has enlightened more.
I absolutely like this blog. Thank you for posting it.
Thanks to Bal's show, I now am no longer intimidated by all those spices. I've found them to be not only user friendly but very tasty and also wonderfully healthy. I always steered clear of curry after smelling the strong odors in motels. My daughter encouraged me to give it a chance and with the "Spice Goddess' " help I have found the perfect blend. There are many reruns though and I do hope to see a good deal more of her recipe ideas.

I am so enjoying these shows. Bal appears kind and seems to be passionate about food and spices. She is also very positive and uplifting. Being gluten, sugar and dairy free this show offers so many choices for me. The fact that she uses Chick Pea Flour and coconut milk make it possible for me to create these meals at home. Plus as a yoga teacher I love anything that has to do with India. This is a fantastic show!
"..outside Punjab, India". Just nitpicking, but Punjab is a state
