The other night, several colleagues attended the NYC Wine & Food Fest‘s Meatball Madness event. I did not. Photos have been circulating via email for 48 hours now and I can only think of one thing…
MEATBALLS!
Every since I saw the Unique Eats episode featuring the Meatball Shop, I’ve had plans to visit. Great procrastinator that I am, I’ve yet to set foot in the establishment for a single meatball, despite the fact it’s less than four miles from the office. Mea culpa.
This weekend, another treasure from Unique Eats, Lee Anne Wong, will be sharing some other great bites, tastes and quaffs from the Wine and Food Fest. We’ll be sure to share and share like. I figure, if you can’t be there in person, living vicariously through Lee Ann is the next best thing…she has been known to be (a self-proclaimed) Eating Tsunami.
Until then, I’m going home and trying one of these 61 meatball recipes.
Maybe Spice Goddess Bal Arneson’s Curried Meatball Recipe?
Or David Rocco’s Polpette di Peppe Recipe?
Or I could go right to the source and just try the Mediterranean-style Lamb Meatball Recipe that the Meatball Shop shared with us?
Thoughts? What meatball would you be making right now?
