You might know a thing or two about Bobby’s day jobs: knife-wielding Iron Chef, TV host, grilling guru, restaurant owner and more. But on weekend mornings, he takes off all those hats and focuses on one passion: cooking brunch. His new show, Brunch @ Bobby’s, celebrates his favorite meal of the week every Saturday at 2 pm. Before the show airs, stock up! Here are 5 things Bobby never makes brunch without.
A well-stocked pantry. We’ve all seen that person at the store, trudging to the checkout with bunny slippers, an overcoat and a carton of eggs. Keep your fridge and pantry stocked with Bobby’s brunch essentials and you’ll never have to go on an early-morning grocery run. Find out what’s on his must-have list:

COFFEE! Bobby says it best: “There’s no better aroma during breakfast, or brunch, or lunch, or dinner for that matter, than coffee.” Keep some beans on hand to make Bobby’s Spanish cafe con leche, or the Italian version of an ice cream sundae: espresso-topped affogato.
A nonstick pan. Bobby’s made enough eggs to know that one thing is essential: a nonstick pan. Don’t try to be a hero — use one for omelets, fried eggs, frittatas and more. Once you’ve got the pan, watch Bobby’s technique for perfect omelets, every time.

Hot sauce. At Bobby’s house, if there’s no hot sauce, there’s no brunch for his wife, Stephanie. “My wife loves to eat eggs, egg sandwiches, fried eggs, omelets. If she eats eggs, Stephanie needs hot sauce.” Bobby’s no stranger to spicy food, either — spice up your brunch with his ranch-style eggs, spicy guacamole and sangrita from this Saturday’s episode.
Beer. It’s not just for breakfast anymore — Bobby loves beer for brunch, too! Sure, you just could crack open a cold one, but dress it up for brunch by turning it into a cocktail. Tomato-y red roosters or beer mimosas, anyone?
