great show!! Missed Garvin doing his cooking magic on TV – glad to see him back!!
I liked the show but the view from the shrimp boat proves why we need to farm raise shrimp instead of "wild" catch. The amount of UNUSABLE sealife that's killed and thrown back is horrendous and is irresponsible. There's got to be a better way for them and for us. I don't think the show intended to point out all the "throwback" creatures but it did and it makes a good point. We can and should do better. (And I am not a vegetarian, I don't hate eating animals, am quite fond of it actually, but we can ALL do better. Just sayin.)

Love, love, love this show. G. Garvin really knows how to engage and make you want to try the dishes that he is experiencing. Tried to find the recipe for the shrimp and grits, but was unsuccessful. Please bring more episodes of this show. I live in Georgia and DVR'd this show so that I can visit the places that he showcases. Can't wait to get to the farmer's market!

I just wanted to let G Garvin know that I LLLLOOOOOOVVVVVEEEEEEEE his recipe book, Turn up the Heat with G Garvin. Although I have only cooked two recipes out of it, I love it. I didn't have to tweek them. I don't think I will have to tweek any of them. You are so talented brother. I think I would take a vacation to California just to go to your restaurant.
