The Meatpacking District of Manhattan will come alive Friday, September 30th, at this district-wide wine and food tasting that will feature dazzling street performances, musicians, artists and of course, top Cooking Channel talent. And to end the evening, your ticket will get you into an exclusive party at Villa Pacri where there will be more food, wine, dancing and stars.

    Hi my name is Natalie and I absolutely love the new cooking channel ( especailly Rogger Mooking and Laura Calder)! I am a 17 year old and I live in an area where hunting is big and friends when the often win big game will send meat to us (deer meat). This is a super hard meat to work with due to the no fat content! I would love to see an episode of either of my two favorite chefs on here due a deer meat segment! But I would enjoy any of your chefs giving this a try tried to find a recipe on here about deer meat and there was none! I was shocked but I am very hopeful and excited to hear back hopefully with a new tasty recipe!!!!! Thank You so Very much

    So I guess I won't be going to New York next weekend as there are no questions I would ask of these "chefs". I know how to cook. I have more experience than Kelsey. Dislike Bobby Flay's faux Southwestern food. I like fish like Ben Sargent. Learned good techniques from Debbie and Gabriele. Never learned any thing from talking heads Mo Rocca or Lee Ann Wong.

    Here's the deal. I came to the Cooking Channel because I disliked the "Celebrity Chef" cartoon cutouts that the Food Network keeps foisting upon us viewers. At first it was great. New shows with people cooking, no travel shows, no "clip" shows and best of all no competitions. Now the Cooking Channel is cross promoting it's "Stars" as they like to call them, has many "chomp and travel" shows and less real chefs cooking with their heart. My question is to the "suits" at Cooking Channel, "When will you bring real chefs, like PBS does, back to mainstream TV?" The answer may never come.

    I'm sorry if I come out a bit rash, but why does every single solitary cook on food channel and cooking channel love HOT peppers, I mean how is it they all do? I hate the pain of hot spicy peppers on my palate. I'm 56 and I never grew up on hot peppers, growing up in a German household. I love the Cooking Channel, but can't you come up with foods without heat, not everyone in the world loves pain in the mouth. I have several friends that hate hot peppers. Of course I don't drink either. And most alcoholics are pepper freaks. In fact I'd say all.
