It’s more than just alliteration; it’s a statement, a proclamation that Thursdays are when the weekend should really start. Kicking it off right is the key, and what better way than with a cocktail that not only takes the edge off, but tastes good too.
Last week we shared a recipe for our Sparkling Wine Sangria Cocktail; this week we’re back with another refreshing sip for you to savor.
When unusual pairings come together in perfect harmony it’s nearly impossible not to get excited. And that’s exactly what makes the Silk Sheets Cocktail so intriguing. With strawberries, balsamic vinegar and gin as its base, the sweet and tangy sip affords an exotic experience, even before a luxurious coat of St. Germain foam is added over the top. Ideal after a long day, it’s just as refreshing when sipped on a lazy Sunday afternoon. Bottoms up, folks.

Thirsty Thursdays?! Why am I only now discovering this fantastic movement! I've been holding Cocktail Fridays where friends and family drop by for my cocktail and appy recipe tests, but I couldn't agree more that the weekend starts on Thursday. I will definitely be trying this recipe – the St. Germain Foam sounds amazing. Happy New Year!
