The magic of Pineapple Upside-Down Cake is the sweet, caramelized fruit on top. One Girl Cookies takes the classic recipe up a notch or two with fresh pineapple and a sprinkle of sea salt.
The story of One Girl Cookies bakery reads like a sweet, modern-day fairy tale. A passionate home baker, Dawn Casale (the one girl), decided to follow her dreams and spread joy with magical mixtures of sugar, flour and butter. She hired a professional baker to help out and, as fortune would have it, they fell in love. As they planned their wedding, they also planned the opening of their little bakery on a quaint street in Cobble Hill, Brooklyn. Now they’re known for their cute cookies, amazing whoopie pies and moist cakes. And with their new cookbook, One Girl Cookies, you don’t have to travel to Brooklyn to taste the happy results of this love story. Dawn Casale and David Crofton are sharing their treasured recipes with home bakers everywhere.

I like to bake everything but my dream bakery would be just cookies.
I like to bake cheesecakes! I recently learned the recipe for a key lime cheesecake and can't wait to try it!
I am currently in college for my degree in Culinary Arts and Business Managment. I plan to own my own bakery and catering company. I would bake all kinds of decadent desserts like my peanut brittle cheesecake and my red velvet mini donuts with a cream cheese glaze. I would have a little sitting area where customers can sit and sample some decadent goods!
I would cook key lime pie
My cousin and I have always dreamed of having our own bakery someday. We would bake everything from scratch since the less processed the better. We would even like to make treats for pets as well.
I would bake Red Velvet everything and anything!
I grew up in a city that used to have a whipped cream bakery and they used to put everything together in front of a giant window that passersby could watch while they made their wonderful creations. Like most things from my childhood they have been gone for a long time. I would love to have a bakery like that and let my imagination take over and create more delicious treats.
I Love to bake! My concept is a "guilt free" indulgence! By that I mean baking with all-natural/organic/local/seasonal ingredients! NOTHING ARTIFICIAL! I love French inspired pastries and decadent desserts and so in my spare time, I experiment with making French macaroons, madeleines, mini cupcakes, and cream puffs! I bake everything from scratch and utilize artisanal ingredients such as cardamom and rose for madeleines or a pistachio cupcake filled with a sweet raspberry and hibiscus coulis, topped with a vanilla bean butter cream! I LOVE DESSERTS, I also love them in small bite-sizes!
Honestly, I've ALWAYS loved to bake ANYTHING =) Since I have recently became Vegan, I have really enjoyed tweaking recipes to make them healthy & Vegan!!!
In my DREAM Bakery, I would make decadent, tantalizing and healthy sweets with organic ingredients to please any palette.
I love baking cookies. Pineapple upside down cake looks amazing. Homemade cooking is so fun and easy on pocket.
I don't do it often enough, but I love to bake scones.
I would bake a Lemon Chess pie and when people would ask me what sort of pie it was, I would reply "It's 'jes pie, honey."
