From Los Angeles to New Orleans, a spin on a shrimping boat and a beer-float competition, Beer Chicks Hallie Beaune and Christina Perozzi are heading out on the road to find out what’s hot in the world of beer, wine and cocktails. Tune in to Eat This, Drink That this Sunday at 8pm ET to come along for the ride.
The Beer Chicks live by a simple motto: Beer is good. And in this special, they explore just how good it can be, and how much better it can make food when paired properly. First they head to New Orleans, where Captain “Big Sexy” introduces them to his secret shrimp recipe. Then it’s over to the Cafe Adelaide to take on Cocktail Chicks Ti Adelaide Martin and Lally Brennan in a food pairing battle to see if cocktails or beer will reign supreme.

This Sweet Potato Cocktail from rivals The Cocktail Chicks in New Orleans is like sweet potato pie in a glass.
Get the recipe for Sweet Potato “Casserole Cocktail”.
The Beer Chicks close out their time in Louisiana with a road trip to the Bayou Teche brewery where they enjoy brunch with brothers Karlos and Dorsey and the rest of the Knott family behind the brewery. Things kick off with beignets paired with coffee beer, and only go up from there. Beer-mimosas, anyone?
The ladies head back to L.A. to compete in the ultimate Beer Float Showdown. Will their sweet corn ice cream float be able to come away with a win? Tune in to find out. And to get ready for the special, read up on The Beer Chicks’ Five Things You Should Know About Beer.

Tune in to Eat This, Drink That this Sunday at 8pm ET.
And tell us: What’s the best thing you’ve paired with beer lately?

Great show! It's about time the Cooking Channel realized that craft beer is as relevant to foodies as wine or cocktails. Please make it a series.
Awesome, I love THE NAKED PINT so I know I'll love seeing the beer chicks in action! It would be fun to be in on that trip live, but I'll enjoy watching anyway! Looking forward to it!

I wanted to be with the Beer Chicks on that boat eating the fresh shrimp boil. What a fun, unique experience. More Beer Chicks please!!!!!
Loved the show and hope to see many more. Glad you rebelled against our teatotaling ways. You girls are always a big hit with us. Your Grandma was the first to turn in a review: Great show!
Such a fun duo! These Chiks rock my shrimp boat!
The beer chicks were awesome and it was nice to see food paired with beer and cocktails which is always the missing ingredient on other cooking shows. I mean who wants to just eat food without an amazing drink with it? Keep it up!
A well shot greatly entertaining and informative first show of what definitely should be a series! Roy

Agreed. Big Beers and the Big Personalities of the Beer Chicks were awesome… Just ordered their books.
Thanks Cooking Channel for creating a show that speaks to what is really going on in the food movement. This is the first show I have seen that shows real people really enjoying the process not just the outcome.
Did not see see any other episodes when I set my TiVo for a season pass… hope this was a programming oversight.
More Beer Chicks please! They are super entertaining and fun to watch!
LOOOOOOVED the show!! I want to know more of where to get the best drinks, and what to eat them with. YUM.

How could they possibly do many shows of this quality per season?
An Awesome, educational, entertaining show.
