We're giving away these adorable Cooking Channel Cookout Cookies - comment below for a chance to win!
For me, cookies are an essential part of summer: They’re fun, they’re portable, they’re not messy (looking at you, ice cream ‘wiches), they won’t melt in the sun (sorry, shortcake!), and they’re perfect paired with a drink by the pool. Why not have a few friends over and celebrate summer with a batch of sizzling Cooking Channel Cookout Cookies? Our friends at Peapods Cookies baked up a fresh, Cooking Channel cookout-inspired batch of cookies just for you.
Kristie at Peapods absolutely loves to bake, and is getting orders right and left on Etsy and Facebook. She bakes buttery, vanilla scented thick-cut sugar cookies decorated to perfection (she has a degree in fashion design, and it shows) with royal icing. If you can dream it, Kristie can bake it into a delicious cookie. We’re so excited to give away these adorable cookout-themed cookies to one lucky winner — they’ll be the star of any summer party.
So throw some burgers and veggies on the grill and shake up some cooling cocktails: We’ve got dessert covered.

These summery cookies are the perfect ending to your summer party. They're sure to vanish long before ants have time to gather on your picnic blanket.
