Octopus at a Texas barbecue and buttermilk pie made on the grill? We say, why not? Chef Roger Mooking and grilling expert Chef Elizabeth Karmel are doing it up Texas style on the new Cooking Channel special Red, White & Grill. The two team up for a backyard barbecue bash like no other, loaded with Karmel’s takes on classic Texan BBQ dishes and Mooking’s exotic cookout foods and flavors. The duo will put a whole new spin on American grilling, and you’re invited to the party.

After getting inspired by some local eats, Roger and Elizabeth sit down to hash out an all-grilled menu.
The Final Spread: The pair works out a menu that features a little bit of everything, including grilled skillet cornbread, ribs with a cola barbecue sauce, buffalo burgers and more.
Who can resist fresh, in-season peaches? Elizabeth uses the fruit in her recipe for Tipsy Blackberries and Peaches.
