Meet Josh Kilmer-Purcel and Brent Ridge, better known as The Fabulous Beekman Boys. Josh is a New York Times best-selling author and former drag queen. Brent is a doctor and former VP at Martha Stewart Living. One day these two city boys saw a beautiful 19th-century farmhouse for sale in upstate New York. For some reason, they decided it would be a fun project to fix it up and start making organic soap out of goat milk. Well it turns out learning how to farm and maintain a 210-year-old property and run a business and raise a bunch of animals and commute from Manhattan every week—all while trying to maintain a relationship—can be pretty stressful. On the plus side, the ensuing drama is really fun to watch. You can find out if they pull it off this September when The Fabulous Beekman Boys comes to Cooking Channel. I've really missed these guys and the wonderful folks we've come to know in Sharon Springs. I look forward to finding out if Josh is finally on the farm full time at last. Thank you for airing The Fabulous Beekman Boys. They are both a riot on and off the show. They have a huge following of fans that have been anxiously and not so anxiously waiting for their return to TV. At last a reality show the whole family can watch. The BEST thing I LOVE about brent and josh and john is, how much respect they have for all those wonderful animals. they give them so much love and affection. It warms my heart. It says alot of thier own character and what kind of people they really are. The cooking channel are lucky to have them as part of thier new family.
