When it comes to Thanksgiving, you know Paula Deen’s household is going to pull out all the stops. This year, Bobby and Jamie Deen are taking the down-home Southern Turkey Day one step further by letting their mama kick back and relax while they cook the big feast for the entire family. Paula Deen has something to be thankful for and so do we because they’ve filmed themselves in the kitchen cooking the entire delicious thing. Tune in to Deen Brothers Thanksgiving tonight at 8pm ET on Cooking Channel. The Deen Thanksgiving table will be bountiful: a fried turkey with cornbread dressing, sweet potato casserole and New York City cheesecake (thanks, Bobby) with a pumpkin topping, just to name a few delicious dishes. Seeing as how devoted Paula is to her dogs, that she often lets her dogs share her food, and that she has small grandchildren running around who might possibly share with the dogs, I was absolutely HORRIFIED that you made no mention on the show, or even on the website, of the fact that Xylitol is DEADLY to dogs, and that anyone purchasing one of these cheesecakes should make sure that there is no possible way for a dog to come in contact with it, not even licking the plates. Even a small piece of Xylitol-containing chewing gum can be FATAL to a large dog.
I would like the recipe for the JR. sugar free cheesecake which aired on the show and said we could get it on the cooking chanel but is know where to be found.
Looking for the sugar free cheesecake recipe. I can't find it either. Have a son that needs "no sugar" and loves cheese cake. Hope to find the recipe soon.
