Thirsty Thursday: It’s a Wonderful Sangria

It’s rare to think about drinking sangria during the cold winter months, but here’s a harmonious concoction that’s sure to lift your spirits. This winter white sangria is a shareable drink to make for guests during the holidays. Not only is it crisp and refreshing, but there’s also a comforting undertone of warm cloves and nutmeg.

Combine dry white wine with the autumnal spices, crisp slivers of pear and apple, and Damiana liqueur which will add a citrusy sweetness. Let this “make-ahead” holiday punch refrigerate overnight to allow the flavors to fully develop. The next day, you just combine this mixture with some chilled bubbly for sparkling, fruity sangria that will please a crowd.

Bottoms up, folks.
