Ice Cream Sushi

Summer is nearly upon us. That means days spent at the beach and nights spent in front of your air conditioning unit. It means buying ice cream by the scoop and sitting down to light meals like sushi. If only these two wildly different types of food could combine into one mega super-food. Well, they have. Introducing ice cream sushi. 

Squeezed between sea urchin roe and tuna on the menu of a Japanese chain restaurant called Uokura, the fish-free treat features vinegary sushi rice topped with vanilla and green tea ice cream. It's wrapped in seaweed just like the real thing. The end result even looks like a wasabi-laden sushi roll.
