At around thirty cents a bag, those crispy fried ramen noodles are every college student’s best friend. Sure, the legacy of the dish itself has a long and storied history, filled with plenty of virtuosos who will make you a bowl of soup that’ll knock your socks off. There is something comforting and pure about those fried noodles, however. Noodles and salty broth, what else does one need in life? Well, maybe a bun.
Japanese fast food joint Lotteria, who are no strangers to this blog, has created the Menya Musashi Ramen Burger. This “burger” is essentially some fried ramen noodles on a bun, which is then topped with sauce, mayonnaise and a pork cutlet. The sandwich is paired with a bowl of broth for slurping or dipping.
The ramen burger and soup combo will set you back around $6.30. Be quick about it though. It’s only available for a limited time. Then you’ll have to slop together your own version at home.
