Japanese Cafe Offers Bird-Flavored Ice Cream

We all scream for ice cream. Get ready to squawk for ice cream, too.

A Japanese cafe called Torimi Cafe has recently put out a menu featuring Pet Bird-Flavored Ice Cream. This is not a joke. There are three flavors in all. These include Parakeet, Cockatiel and Java Sparrow. There is no need to check on your beloved Tweety, however. The flavors are not actually made from bird, even though they are supposed to taste like it.

"Once in your mouth, the aroma of a parakeet would spread intensely.” The cafe says about one flavor. They also say another flavor evokes “the feeling of pressing the breast of a java sparrow into your mouth."
