There's an age old saying that goes "don't poop where you eat." But does this cautionary adage also work backwards? Can one, uh, eat where they poop? One popular restaurant chain in Taiwan absolutely thinks one can. Welcome to the culinary weirdness that is Modern Toilet. 

If you are thinking this is an entire eatery patterned after a bathroom, you'd be right. The seats are toilet seats. You eat out of giant toilet-shaped bowls. The favorite dessert? Chocolate ice cream made to look like, uh, you know. The menu consists of noodle bowls, rice dishes and other local favorites.

Modern Toilet started as just one location in 2004 but business is booming. They have over a dozen branches all over Taiwan as well as Hong Kong.
