Thirsty Thursday: Red Velvet Cupcake Cocktail for Valentine’s Day

It’s more than just alliteration; it’s a statement, a proclamation that Thursdays are when the weekend should really start. Kicking it off right is the key, and what better way than with a cocktail that not only takes the edge off, but tastes good too. A hard thing to disagree with, we know. Drink up, get down and go to sleep happy.

Want to enjoy a decadent dessert on Valentine’s Day without all the fuss of whipping up a cake? Now you can have your cake and drink it too with this Red Velvet Cupcake Cocktail. Fall in love with this clever dessert cocktail that color-coordinates with the holiday. And since anything chocolate is a must on V-Day, this chocolatey beverage is ideal whether you’re in love or just want an alcoholic way to consume red velvet cake.

Chocolate liqueur, vodka, tangy buttermilk and chocolate sauce are shaken over ice and poured into a cocktail glass rimmed with frosting. Nothing quite says Valentine’s Day like this boozed-up dessert in a glass.

Bottoms up, folks.
